River Rock is commonly used as decorative landscaping. Some uses are:
- Pathways, Ground cover for low maintenance landscaping, water features, and garden beds
Crushed Gravel is commonly used in both decorative landscaping and structural applications, as the sharp angles help it to interlock and stay compacted. Some uses are:
- bases for sheds, driveway gravel, foundation base, concrete pad base material, patio slab sub-base, ground cover for low maintenance, garden beds, and pathways
Base Materials are mostly used for their compaction and structural applications, but can still be used decoratively. Some uses are:
- paver sand base, flagstone base material, artificial turf base, baseball field dirt, rustic pathways, or low maintenance ground cover for garden beds.

How does Delivery work?
Here at the Rock Depot, we try to make the delivery process is designed to be as pain-free as possible.
- Where do you deliver? We typically deliver to your driveway, though special requests can be made and are up to the discretion of the driver.
- Are all drop locations accessible? Most drop locations are accessible unless you order 25 tons or more, which requires an 18-wheeler delivery and may need special access considerations.
- Do I need to be there when they deliver? No, but it is highly recommended that someone be there to direct the driver. Once the material is dropped, not much can be done about it.
- Can you spread the material? Due to the nature of a dump trailer, we aren’t able to spread the material very much. If there is room, we are able to drag drop the material to make the pile more manageable. For comprehensive landscaping, contact Padre Landscapes at (361)-949-6999
- How much material can you haul at a time? For most deliveries, we can haul up to 6 cubic yards at a time. If you purchase 25 tons or more, the delivery will be carried out with an 18-wheeler.
Material Disclaimer
Due to the delivery process, your material may look a different color (usually a lighter color) from the desired look upon dumping. This is due to dust buildup from transferring material. Thoroughly wash the material after installation to achieve the correct look.
